Loading message is constantly displayed where? Are you installing to your device direct from iTunes or are you using a computer?

If you are installing direct through the device it may be good to know that the application is quite large so is maybe still downloading? Failing that, you can try an install through your computer.

Hi Dan,

You have to first get your firmware upgrade from iTunes. Connect your iPod to your PC and iTunes will tell you there is an update available. Follow the instructions to install the update and then you will be able to go ahead and purchase the app

This is probably the best app I’ve downloaded on the iPhone so far! One small gripe though, is it possible in a future update to maybe buffer the sentence before playing it to enable you to remove any gaps from between words. At the moment, if I construct a new word from two or more others, they don’t quite gel. Apart from that, fantastic!

Buffering is fine on the words, it is the way the words are included in the app. You can use the sliders to shorten every word you wish to perfect your sentence but we had to include the words like this incase the word was to be used as the final word in a sentence.

Fantastic App – very useful and, unlike some “potentially” very useful apps, this one doesnt disappoint or have that “if only it did that bit better” element.

At the risk of costing you a small fortune in dragging Peter back in to record another million words, can I request the following:

In the numbers section, it would be useful to have 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and…oh yes, 19. I’ve tried building these numbers from sounds, but it didnt go well .

In the male names, Gary…(you knew I was going to ask for that huh). In the females names “Carol” (if possible).

Elsewhere “Angel” and “Devil” and “Rhythms” and “Hotel” would be great.

Right, I’ve asked alot, so time to give something back – the app crashed on me once – but I tried to re-trace my steps and got it to crash again. Here’s the steps…(although it doesnt alllllways crash). In sentence builder, pick a category with a lot of words to scroll through eg: “Female Names”….scroll down to the bottom, so…about 50 names down the list (ish). Next, change the category to a category with significantly less words in its list…like…”Months” it seems to occasionally crash back to my home screen – I’m guessing that the program doesnt like being “focused” on an item 50 in a list, then jumping to a list without an entry “50″. (thats a guess for sure). Maybe it’ll help. Thanks

Yes i can see that our system has sent out 3 ringtones to you. ExcuseMeYesHello, HelloHelloooooo & SorryIfItsABitObvious. We only get informed when the ringtone has indeed been sent so the issue is down to your email service provider stopping the email as spam either before entry into your account or into your junk mail filter.

Can you just check your junk mail to see if they are in there if you haven’t already?

Yes, i can see that it has been sent to you 9 times so far so your email account is blocking it before it hits your inbox. Seems to be an issue related to hotmail.com email addresses so maybe we can look at how they receive and fix that way.

I have taken the liberty of sending you the pack of ringtones and alarm tones direct to avoid further trouble. I have also given you the extra ringtones pack normally sold for 59p due to the trouble you have been having.

Great app, spot on thanks, but a problem today after updating…. I previously bought the ringtones pack 1 and the alarm tones pack 1 and downloaded them both, bug since the update they aren’t there any more and if I select them in app I’m asked if I want to buy them. His can I get them back?

First off, great app – I love it to bits. But lately, I’ve been unable to use the sentence maker; more specifically, I can open it, and put sentences together, but I can’t hear them at all – whether it be through my iPod touch’s internal speaker, my headphones, or through my clock/radio when docked. Got the new update for iPod today, a bit disappointed that the numericals haven’t been fixed yet. It still says “question 1, question 1, question 1, question 1″ instead of just “one”, the same problem with other numbers (as reported 1 month ago).

WOW, Yeah that one slipped the net! Will make sure that’s fixed in the next update but don’t forget that using the yellow sliders you can easily remove the “question” part in a sentence anyway.

Hi, I seem to have lost the add on packs on my app. If I go to add them again it says it will charge 59p, if I do this will it charge me or recognise that I already have paid and let me download again for free? Sorry if this is a silly question!

Hi, I am unable to open the sentence maker on my Ipod as it opens up a link to twitter then closes the app. This happens everytime although I can access the rest of the app.

Downloaded this today and it keeps crashing on the sentance maker, just comes up with a Twitter thing then goes back to iPhone home page, I only bought it for the sentance maker and thats the only part that I can’t use. Not happy.

This will be down to the fact your device is muted. Before the latest iPad update u could use the right side button to lock orientation but it’s now used for mute.

I know that you can trim down the current samples, but when you are just after ’1′ and you have to trim down ‘Question 1, Question 1, Question 1, Question 1′ it is very difficult as the sample is so long and the clip you need is so short…

Also, any chance of having Second / seconds added to the Time category?

Just bought this, but having trouble with Sentence Maker. I can’t get the sentence to play more than once and if I shorten a word I can’t get the word or sentence to play at all.
What’s the process for shortening a word and preview/playing it?

I thought u meant iOS version sorry. We have no current plans for an immediate update to the android version. The Android marketplace is awful and the dev tools / OS is even worse. We are contemplating even closing our android dev account.

I am sorry you feel that way but the app was sold on the marketplace “as-is” and not once did we state that the app would be regularly updated. Besides, using something for 12 months isn’t worth the couple of pounds you paid? I am not saying that it never will be the case but until Google make it worthwhile to develop for Android we cannot afford to waste resources on it.

Our iPhone version has been updated 8 times in 12 months with a ton of new features and content. Fans asked for a copy of the app on Android so we provided one with every intention of supporting as we do on the iPhone based on its stats on the Android marketplace. Google’s awful ways of running things tied in with a ridiculous amount of devices with different specs makes it nearly impossible for a company like ours to dedicate time to it.

As soon as we have news on any update I will post here and you will know about it.

Again, apologies if this isn’t the news that you were looking for but all is not lost.
